My second attempt at Eldar scenery, in preparation for a campaign still a ways off. The piece on the left is primarily made from a pop-up sprinkler body. For more tips on how I made these pieces, check out the Eldar Terrain Tips in the How To section.
I went for a darker color scheme this time. I primed the pieces black, and used a sponge to paint them shades of blue and green. This method was surprisingly fast and effective, the grain of the sponge adding detail to flat surfaces and blending nicely between colors.. I finished off the pieces with some white drybrushing to better define the edges, and glued on some rhinestone gems (red and yellow) for that final touch of detail. At some point, I may add some decals too (especially since the new Falcon kit includes some really nice ones).
